Why I started Aifcandles in a world full of products

Aifcandles was born from a very personal feeling: the need to create products that are not only beautiful, but also truly evoke something.

Before I started Aifcandles, I worked for various wholesalers for years. I learned a lot there about product development, production, and trends. But I also saw how often everything looked the same. The same colors, the same shapes, the same ideas. Products that were made primarily for trade, without, in my opinion, anything real behind them.

Yet I continued to love creating something beautiful. Products that make people happy, that bring atmosphere and evoke a smile. That was what I was missing in the world of mass production.

When I started making small batches of candles for myself, it felt different immediately. I received so many sincere, positive responses. People were genuinely happy with them. That feeling touched me and is exactly why I started Aifcandles. For the first time, I felt truly seen in what I made, something I had missed a lot in my career.

In a world full of products, I want to bring something that feels personal. Candles with character, color, and warmth. Things that are not only beautiful to look at, but also do something for how you feel.

Take the smiley candle, for example. It's not just about the candle itself, but especially about the gesture behind it. You give it to someone to make them smile. That is exactly what I want with Aifcandles: to create small moments of warmth and joy.

For me, Aifcandles is therefore about much more than just products. It’s about feeling, attention, and something small that can make a big difference.

And that is what Aifcandles still means to me every single day: sharing a little bit of warmth, color, and joy.
